Did you love being a JRP Fellow or intern? Check out the options below for great ways to stay connected!!
|
1. Confronting the Text: Conversations about the most inspiring and challenging Jewish texts ever written. Many of the JRP Interns and Fellows have told us that they so inspired by the Jewish conversations last year about the big topics that they wanted a chance to go a little deeper and to actually read some of the texts. Each Monday night this group will get together and study different Jewish texts in English. We'll start by reading them in small learning teams (hevruta style) and then discuss as a larger group. The topics and texts will be determined by the group.
2. Entrepreneurial Start-Up Grants: If you have some great new idea that you want to make a reality, JRP can help you get it started with funding, website space and staff help. Already there are a number of former JRP Fellows who are thinking about starting an interfaith dialogue, a regular JRP Open-Mic Night, and a Big Brother and Big Sisters chapter.
3. Kavannah Initiative - Are you bored, confused and intimidated at services? Do you find yourself sitting there thinking, "I don't believe any of this?" The Kavannah Initiative is an intellectual open discussion group for people who want to figure out what all of the prayers actually mean. Checkout more at http://jrp.com/kavannahinitiative
