Jewish Renaissance Project

Welcome to the JRP Website!

We'll be hiring PAID interns for the 2013-14 school year soon!  If you're interested in meeting other Jewish students, adding to Jewish life on campus, learning and exploring what Judaism means to you, then being a Pincus JRP Fellow, Jewish Life Liaison, or Campus Entrepreneur Intern (CEI) is for you!

Check out the various internship pages (linked above) to learn more about each unique micro-community.  Send all questions to Emily at eperl@jrp.com.

Passover 2013 will be here before you know it!  The first seder is on Monday, March 25th and the second seder is Tuesday, March 26th.  Looking for a fun, unique way to celebrate?

Host a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Seder for you and your friends in your own space, in your own style. Sign-up online to be a Seder host, and become a part of this major campus initiative to bring Passover across Penn!  No experience necessary.

We'll provide you with EVERYTHING you need (food, haggadot, seder plates, matzah, wine, etc) all for FREE!

Unfortunately we are no longer taking additional registrations. Please email Emily (eperl@jrp.com) with any questions.

Meet our JRP student interns for 2012-13

The Jewish Renaissance Project (JRP) is about you, your interests, your friends and your Jewish identity! JRP is an alternative choice for Penn students who want to figure out what Judaism means in a sophisticated and intellectually open way with other people who look and talk just like you.

JRP isn't about someone telling you the right answers, and it isn't about sitting passively and learning what Judaism has to say. It's about finding your own answers and getting the chance to find your own Jewish voice. JRP isn't a club you join. It's a network of friends who create the social, intellectual, political and spiritual events that focus on the issues that matter with the people who matter.

JRP programs are diverse and cover any way that you could want to explore your Judaism. There are 9 different initiatives that are designed for freshmen, Greek students, upperclassmen who live off-campus and everyone else in between.

Just take a look below at the incredible range of things going on in JRP.
