This Edition’s Featured Information:

2)     Summer 2010 Birthright Registration Opening Soon!

1) Dan Senor Comes to Penn!

“How is it that Israel—a country of 7.1 million people, only sixty years old, surrounded by enemies, in a constant state of war since its founding, with no natural resources—produces more start-up companies than large, peaceful, and stable nations like Japan, China, India, Korea, Canada, and the United Kingdom?” (from the front cover flap of Start Up Nation)

Dan Senor, New York Times bestselling author and former U.S. Senior Foreign Policy Advisor, discusses this question in his latest book Start Up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle, and is coming to Penn this week to speak about his book! A dessert reception and book signing will follow the talk, and a limited number of free books will be available for students at the event.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 17th, 7:00-8:30 PM

WHERE: Hillel, Steinhardt Hall, Shotel Dubin Auditorium (2nd Floor)
